Using a database, our CableMatic Plus™ program is used for cable routing and preparing cable and conduit schedules. Using a spreadsheet, the cable designer prepares a list of cables (cable type, origin/destination equipment, and voltage level restrictions).  The automated cable routing process will use NEC raceway fill rules to avoid overfilling the raceway.   If a raceway becomes overfilled, the software will resize the raceway for the user, provided the user has the option enabled.

When a bid package is being created, or when precise routing of the cable between equipment and tray or pull point is not required, CableMatic Plus™ can find tentative transitions between equipment and main raceways by determining what nearby main raceways are available that allow for the cable's voltage level requirements.
